What can you see with this telescope? Can you see nearby galaxies?
The FirstScope is the little scope that could. Don't let its small size fool you. If used at a dark sky site away from city light pollution, you can easily see the Andromeda Galaxy, M81 & M82 galaxies, Orion Nebula and more. You can also observe solar system objects, but it is recommended to purchase a 2x Barlow lens or higher power eyepieces.

What kind of 2X Barlow can I buy to use with my Celestron first Scope ?
We recommend the Celestron Omni 2x Barlow Lens #93326, or the X-Cel LX 2x Barlow Lens #93529. Both will work well with the Celestron FirstScope telescope.
