    Lowepro 70 AW reviews

Top Loader Pro 70 AW Camera Bag is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 84.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great case for hiking and walking tour I really like the Top Loader Pro 70 AW Camera Bag by Lowepro for carrying one large DSLR and accessories. This case holds my Nikon D800 camera and battery grip, with a 28-300mm lens attached. The front pocket on the case has room for filters, spare batteries, remote flash cords and such. There are two points for attaching accessory cases on the sides of the bag, for carrying spare lenses, an electronic flash, or a water bottle. A great case to hold everything you need for a days shooting. What I especially like about this top loader is that it will safely hold the camera, with the top flap open. No danger of the camera falling out on the ground.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Top Loader Pro 70 gets Top Grades I bought this holster style bag with the idea of being picture ready with my Canon Rebel XT with Canon's EFS 18x135mm IS zoom lens. The front side opening makes it easy to grab the camera and start shooting. The available storage pockets readily handle extra batteries, memory cards, remote, etc. Its three point harness keeps the bag in position and stable so I can concentrate on the shot and not what the bag is doing. On the negative side, I would like it to accomodate my Canon external Flash but solved this with Lowepro's add on pouch which conveniently holds the Flash and 4 extra AA rechargeable batteries. I highly recommend this bag for anyone who wants to spend the day camera ready.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lowepro Top Loader 70 AW Having purchased from B&H the Top Loader 55 AW I knew with the 70 AW I was getting a premium well constructed camera bag. I went with the 70 AW to fit my 5D MKIII with battery grip which the 55 AW fit but was really, really tight. The 70 AW fits my 5d MKIII with 24 - 70 f/2.8 L lens like a glove.(the MKIII with the 70-200 f/4.0L attached the bag isn't deep enough) It's well padded all the way around with ample pockets inside and out with a padded strap that feels strong and comfortable lugging the MKIII around. Will definitely be my go to bag, another great purchase from B&B.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this product again. This camera bag fits my Canon 5D MK3 with the 24-105mm lens attached with the lens hood in the inverted position. There is not much extra room for anything else in the main compartment, but there is enough room the outside zippered pockets for extra batteries and memory cards. It's much easier to carry and access my camera than with a standard camera bag and that's exactly why I bought it. It's sturdy and cushioned. The shoulder strap and back strap keep it from moving while walking. For the times when you don't plan on using another lens or flash, this bag is well worth having.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Major protection I purchased this bag to protect my 7D while snowboarding and judging by the strength and rigidity of the bag it will do just that. It is larger than I expected. Unfortunately it will not hold the 24-70 2.8 lens with the hood on it, so you have to either keep the hood off or turn it every time you pull the camera out. There is minimal storage for any other equipment, which is perfect when you are only wanting to bring a specific setup. I look forward to getting some great mountain shots and snowboard trick next month!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for my m4/3 setup I use it to carry an Olympus OM-D E-M1 with grip and 12-40mm f/2.8 lens attached. There is enough room at the bottom to throw in the 17mm f/1.8. My FL-600R speedlight fits into the side zippered pocket. In the top zippered pocket I carry 2 additional batteries as well as AA's for the speedlight. I also carry extra memory cards, lens cleaning cloth, and a circular polarizing filter. I like the ability of quick access to the camera and accessories. Recently purchased the Lowepro S&F bottle holder to attach to the side. It can be used to carry a water bottle or a smallish zoom like the 40-150mm f/4.0-5.6 R lens

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ideal for the adventure photographer I use this product to carry around my Nikon D700 with my 16-35mm or 24-120mm lens during hiking and backpacking trips. I bought the chest harness to go with this and it works like a charm: I have easy access to my camera gear without having to take off my bulky backpack, my camera is very well-protected, and since it is carried in front of me, my balance isn't thrown off. It has a very good built-in rain cover that can be deployed quickly and offers great protection from the elements. This bag also has well-considered and convenient storage. I can fit everything I need for a week-long backpacking trip in this bag: my camera and lens (obviously), two extra memory cards (the bag has special pouches that fit CF cards snugly and securely), three extra batteries, my GPS tagger, an extra filter, a lens-pen, and shutter release cable and its remote. The only things it won't accommodate is my Q-Ball air blower and my tripod. I have occasionally used this bag in holster-mode, with it attached to the side of my hip. It includes a strap that also goes across your body, which secures it well and keeps it from flapping about. It was comfortable to carry it this way, and would be good for urban photography. I highly recommend this product. If you have a large DSLR/lens and need a well-protected way to carry it around with very easy access, this is your bag!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from should have bought this one first Use this with my Canon 7d and ef 28-135 IS USM, and a few other shorter lens. Just about seems the perfect size for the camera and lens. Have to invert the lens hood but it all its nice and snug in the case. At first glance it apeared to small, but you dont want thing rattling around while hiking. Overall the case is very well thought out. Side and top pockets provide enough room for the ensentials like a few filters, extra battery, memory cards, lens cleaners etc. This is definitly not a carry everthing but the kitchen sink case. Designed to carry your camera and essentials and keep the protected. A breif manual would have been nice. Took me a bit to find the rain hood hidden in the bottom side pocket of the case.
