The Manfrotto 701HDV, 055XBK is an aluminum tripod system for camcorders up to 8.8 lbs. This system consists of the 701HDV Pro Fluid Mini Head and the 055XB aluminum tripod with soft case.

Fluid Head
Small and lightweight, the Bogen 701HDV Pro Fluid Video Mini Head is capable of accommodating payloads up to 9.5 lbs, and was designed principally to support the latest digital video equipment, including Mini DV and prosumer/professional grade HDV camcorders.
Tripod Legs
The Bogen/Manfrotto 055XB Tripod Legs builds on the success of the 3011/3021 series, but has been redesigned to offer even better ergonomics of the leg-angle release mechanism, and improved quick action leg locks. While it can reach a maximum working height of 70" (178cm), it can also be used as low as 2.8" (7cm) by using the low angle adapter built in to the center column.
