Photographers' Formulary 50-1410 reviews

Plastic Bottle (Amber, 950mL) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect size for C-41 mix These are the perfect size for the C-41 Developing Press Kit, when the chemicals are all made up. You might have a half a cup of extra left over, but I have found it more efficient to ditch that than use larger bottles, which take up far more space and expose the chemicals to more air, which will degrade them faster. The only reason that I give them a 4 star not 5 is because I really wish there was a white area on the bottle where I could label with sharpie. I am using stick on labels but they get are constantly getting wet and don't hold up that well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job well The bottles actually hold more than 950ml, more like a full Liter. The bottles are made of thick but flexible plastic and the caps seal tightly. The mouths are small and can sometimes lead to dribbles and spills. There are no markings on the bottles; they're pure black plastic. I use a piece of masking tape as a label to record chemical name, mix date, etc. I do this even with bottles that have printed labels.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for the price Fits 1L of chemical just fine - probably won't store different chemicals after each other in the same bottle because of potential permeability of the plastic (unlike glass) but suits my needs

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It does what it says It's a black, plastic bottle. It holds liquids. I like that I can squeeze out excess air and the fact that it's black means no light gets through.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great storage for developer chemicals These bottles are excellent for storing developer chemicals. The only nuisance is that they come with the cap loose because there's a quality seal in there that will apply itself when you use the cap for the first time. Some might actually consider that a feature; I was surprised. In the end it's only a minor annoyance and the bottles seal well anyway, so I don't care either way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bottle. Glad they still make black plastic bottle for darkroom chemicals. Just wish the top of the bottle is tapered so it won't touch the can when pour of which I can pour is closer to the can opening.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It Works! These work as intended, they prevent light from coming in since they are made from black plastic.
