The Rosco Permacolor #31080 Glass Primary Blue Dichroic Filter is a glass filter manufactured to extremely exacting standards. Dichroic filters reflect the unwanted part of the light spectrum passing only the required color, resulting in a very pure transmission of that color. While the #31080 corresponds to Cinegel #80 Blue, transmission is appreciably higher than that of traditional gels.
