Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Good Product I use this shutter release regularly since I am a landscape photographer. I've only had this particular product for a couple of weeks and have only had opportunity to use it on one occassion so far but it works great and does exactly what it's supposed to do. I would definately buy it again as it's much less expensive than the Canon brand and it works great-my only complaint is I just don't like how it feels. I'm used to a shutter release cable that fits in my hand easily and comfortably which this one doesn't do; It only really fits in my first two fingers (index and middle) and then I press the button with my thumb. As I said, it works great I just don't like how it feels/fits my hand. I also wish it had a longer cord. Otherwise, it's an excellent product for a great price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works like a charm Fit into the appropriate socket with no effort whatsoever, and has not popped off once. I like the fact that the cord has the small coiled section in the middle. It keeps it from being too long and dangly, yet gives it some flexibility if I need it to be a little longer. I don't know if the button portion is supposed to clip onto something, but both ends are shaped very similarly, and if I don't look at it when I grab it, I end up trying to click the wrong end.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes life easy! Took all of 45 seconds to replace the standard cable with the new one. Works like a charm. Being left-handed and shooting Hasselblad in the old days, I like to focus with my right hand, supporting the camera bracket with my left/shooting with my left.
