Leader Moving Zone Plate for PHABRIX Sx is an add-on software option for the PHABRIX Sx line of test equipment. With this option installed, it will be possible to pre-program various zone plate patterns as well tweak controls over a number of parameters which can then be stored to internal memory.
Moving Zone Plate enables the use of "dynamic" patterns to be applied as a way of testing various video processing devices. Particularly useful are its spacial and temporal controls which enable testing up/down converters, image scalers,
and applications which compress signals.
Another important function is frequency
sweep testing which can be employed to determine the usable bandwidth of a system. Moving Zone Plate supports all formats including 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratios and will also automatically scale patterns according to the particular format in use.

Sets Circular, Linear, Grating, Sweep
This sets the start phase of the sinewave generated by the zone plate generator and is set in degrees from 0-360.
This is used to set the rate of change of phase of the sinewave and thus changes the speed that the zone plate moves at. It is specified in degrees per frame.
This changes the angle of the zone plate and thus can change a horizontal sweep into a vertical sweep or rotate an elliptical zone plate pattern.
This sets the horizontal scale of grating patterns or the start value of the zone plate sweep frequency.
This sets the vertical scale of grating patterns or the end value of the zone plate sweep frequency.
