question
How do you attach this to a camera jib to be able to use it for a monitor?
If the jib has a cold/hot shoe mount or a female 1/4 20 thread you are set. Otherwise you will probably have to use a clamp or something.

question
I'm using the Pearstone 4.2 (10.7cm) Articulating Arm to mount a Tascam dr70 onto a Sony a7S Camera Rig ES-T16. I have mounted a video light and external monitor to the 2 shoe mounts. I don't see a way to mount the Tascam into one of the holes in the cage without having to turn the whole arm (rather than being able to tighten the knob to secure the male end of the screw into the hole). What am I missing? thanks!
You have it right. You have to turn the whole arm into the screw hole, tighten it, then adjust the arm using the large knob.
