How is shipping with lenses? Im wondering how it will be safe with handling since the glass of the lenses are sensitive. What packaging do you provide for lens shipping?
The lenses are shipped inside two layers of protection: the original manufacturer's box with internal padding (usually styrofoam and plastic coverings cut to fit the lens inside the box). And that manufacturer's box is then shipped inside our B&H cardboard shipping boxes, with padding added to them so the contents do not shift or shake around inside the shipping box.

Hi there, How does this 15mm work on SONY? I've heard some of the lenses actually will have problem on the sony a7?I am not pretty sure, so somebody please help me if it is ok to use this on my a7(I got 40mm 1.4 which works really good)
The lens is all metal and well made, but it does not work well for Leica M240. For color photography, special software is needed to remove the red color bias at four corners in post proccessing. but B&W photography is OK. Will A7 has this problem , I do not know. Lastly, all Vioghtlander lenses are not made for M240, fitting is a problem. It actually scratched my M240 mounting ring. Francis

I would like to use this leans on a sony A7. I realise i will also need an E mount adaptor.I understand this is a manual focus lens but easy to use form this perspective.Does the metering on the A7 control the aperture on the lens. In addition ias the EXIF data transmitted to the camera body
We have a variety of Sony E to Leica M adapters. http://bhpho.to/1owuzfMI have found Sony's peak focusing to be very reliable for my M lenses. There is no control of the f/stops via the body nor is any EXIF data recorded. You will need to make sure the menu option that allows the camera to fire without a lens attached is selected. The method I use most is I select shutter priority and use Auto ISO. Then, as I am shooting I select the f/stop I feel is appropriate and the camera adjusts the ISO. I use exposure compensation if I want to tweak the exposure.
