Lexicon I·Onix U22 - USB 2.0 Desktop Recording Studio
Key Features
  • 2 Input/2 Output
  • 2 Microphone Preamps
  • Phantom Power
  • MIDI I/O
The I·Onix U22 from Lexicon is a desktop, USB 2.0 digital audio interface featuring dbx high-voltage, ultra-low noise microphone preamps on both channels. The preamps run on a high-voltage supply to guarantee stability and provide a wide dynamic range, while the 24-bit/96kHz converters can capture every subtle detail of a recording.

The interface can record 2 tracks at once and includes combi-jack microphone/line inputs with switchable +48V phantom power and a Hi-Z instrument input (connecting an instrument to the latter causes the microphone/line input to become inactive). Two 1/4" TRS balanced line outputs are complemented by a headphone output with dedicated gain control, along with MIDI I/O.

The included Cubase 4LE software provides comprehensive recording and editing features for both audio and MIDI. The Pantheon II VST/AU reverb plug-in features 6 reverb types with 16 adjustable parameters and 35 factory presets that range from vocal settings, to live sound and to special effects.
