    K-Tek KE-144CCR reviews

KE-144CCR Avalon Series Aluminum Boompole is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great quality, though slightly heavy. I noticed the handling noise was definitely more of an issue than on carbon poles I've used. Also it is a bit heavier than carbon. I've found that the internal cable tension is best when either 2, 3 or all 5 sections of the boom are extended, as the coil is prone to bouncing around with only 4 extended. That said, this pole is of excellent quality and performs well, telescoping is smooth and secure. I've found that gloves make handling noise almost dissapear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent boompole for the money Not quite as light weight as K-Tek's carbon fiber series, but gets the job done. 12' may prove to be a little short for certain situations, but works perfectly in most ENG situations.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from worth the price The pole is a little heavy. But for the length, innercoil, side xlr input, its well worth the price.
