Clamping voltage?

Clamping voltage?
Asked by: Lavesh
The Clamping voltage or VPR is Boasting an IEEE rating of 40 volts, the P11VNT3 is designed to prevent more than 40 volts of electricity from reaching your equipment. Since higher let-through rates can increase the risk of damage to your electronics, the 40-volt rating of this surge protector indicates that less voltage may strain and hinder the performance of your system.

Will using the RJ45 ports reduce my internet speed?
Asked by: Jyl
The RJ-45 ports on the APC SurgeArrest Performance Power Strip, B&H # APP11VNT3, are 10/100Mbps. If you have 1Gbps speeds from your ISP, it would slow them down to 100Mbps.

question

I recently had a lightning strike near my house that fried all of the HDMI inputs on my TV. The rest of the TV works fine. Also fried a BluRay player, connected via HDMI. Comcast box was connected to outside cable via coax, then ran HDMI from box to TV. Would this prevent a power surge thru HDMI cables (since HDMI was connected to Comcast box)?
Asked by: Tim
I use mine with a Coax cable connected from my coax cable that runs from outside to the surge protector them out to my satellite box. It work great so far. Before I got this we had the same problem with lighting either coming in on coax or phone line and destroying TV and modems ETC... but not since using a surge protector.

question

Is this compatible with Canon mf227dw laser printer?
Asked by: Anonymous
Because of the varying power demands during a printing process, there may be a performance problem. I would recommend doing a search on: surge protector vs laser printer and reviewing the results.
