The Manfrotto Trigrip Holder with Flash Bracket is an ideal accessory for shooting on the run. Functioning much like a photo assistant, the bracket holds an on-camera flash on a swing-away arm at one end and the molded Trigrip reflector or diffuser handle, secured with a strap at the other. The integral ball-joint is then employed to achieve the desired angle for the desired bounced or diffused lighting effect. The attaches to a standard 5/8"(16 mm) light stand stud.

I have Manfrotto Compact Advanced Aluminium Tripod with ball head. Is it possible to put this holder with flash bracket on it? Do I need some kind of adapter?

If I would like to adapt it with my tripod (Manfrotto GT), how can I?
You may use an adapter such as the Manfrotto 119 Short (16mm) Adapter Spigot with 1/4"-20 & 3/8" Female Threads B&H # MA119 which can screw into a tripod to allow the TriGrip Holder to attach.

Is this durable enough to hold the 48 trigrip mounted to a C-Stand and sandbagged for outdoor use?
I bought it to hold a large reflector, which it did. But the reflector handle was strong enough to hold the reflector will out serious bending and then the reflector handle broke.

Is the Manfrotto 1051BAC light stand strong/sturdy enough to hold a TriFlip 8-in-1 with this or would I need a bigger stand?
Hi Jason,The 1050 series are light and compact. Great for the on location photographer. I always have one straped to my backpack and use interchangeably with an umbrella mount or a soft box with a flash mount.For use with a trigrip? I wouldn't recommended it. The trigrip holder (which I recommend) is well built and when extended with the reflector is a tad too much for the light weight stand.I use a MA1005BAC. Yes it's bigger in everyway but still light enough to walk in hand with. You will also appreciate the extra height it provides. I use it interchangebly with studio lights and/or large light modifiers. I hope this helps.

Is there a way to purchase the trigrip reflector holder without all the ball joint and flash holder? I just want the holder with the female 5/8.
The holder only comes with the ball joint connector.
