    Cokin CBPW400 Reviews

BPW400 Wide Angle Filter Holder for P Series is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 54.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great I bought this specifically for use with the Canon EF-S 10-22mm lens. No vignette at 10mm. Using a graduated ND filter with it with no problems.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from An Improved Holder but Not A Perfect One Although I already have 2 Cokin P Series holders, I purchased this Wide Angle holder hoping to eliminate the shadows at the corners of my new Canon 24-70mm F2.8L Mark II lens when zoomed out at wide angle. The shadow problem is slightly better than using the regular multi-filter holder. However, it is still visible at 24mm. As filter size of the newer high performance lenses such as Canon's Mark II lenses gets larger and larger, it is getting harder to continue to use the P Series filters in wide angle. Expect to comprise!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great addition to my location kit I bought this filter holder to use with my 5D mk ll and 24 to 105 lens. i have SingeRay grad ND filters and the P filter holder would show up in wide angle situations. This Cokin Wide Angle Filter holder works great. No more dark corners.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No Vignetting Yet! I use this filter holder with the Galen Rowell P series filters on my Nikkor 17-35mm f2.8, and Tokina 11-16mm wide angle lenses. So far I've had no vignetting, and no nasty flare or glare when shooting landscapes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works great on ultrawide lenses I needed ND grads on a Tokina 11-16mm. At 11mm, most screw-in filters and the regular Cokin holder caused vignetting. This works great on that lens, even at 11mm wide open.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works with 7D & Tokina 11-16 I use this with a Canon 7D and Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8. In stills mode, there is slight vignetting at 11mm when the filter holder is diagonal. It is clear in horizontal and vertical rotation. The vignetting disappears in video mode (FOV is slightly narrower in video mode). Not a prob with a cokin pola as you can pre-rotate it for max effect before sliding it into the holder. But it could be an issue with grads. Build quality is flimsy, but good value for the price. Wish it held 2 filters instead of 1.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from thin and plastic but seems durable ...bought this wide angle filter holder to use with a canon 16-35L II along with the cokin 82mm adaptor ring on a full frame! It holds the hitech 85 filter system securely but it does vignette below 24mm. it performs like described, happy with the results but not amazed

Rated 3 out of 5 by from GREAT AND APS-C cameras but not FF This is a useful product as it reduces the amount of vignetting that occurs with the standard holder that is provided with the P System. Nonetheless, there is visible vignetting apparent on my Sony Alpha a900 paired with the legendary CZ 24-70 F/2.8 SSM lens. Vignetting is visible until 28mm. With the Z-Pro and X-Pro holders from Cokin unavailable, LEE filter holders seem to be a viable option for FF owners like me who want to capture Wide Angle Shots.
