The Manfrotto 250SC1 Suction Cup/Retractable Spiked Foot is an optional upgrade made to fit their "D25" 25mm diameter aluminum tube, found on the 681B and 681 monopods.

The suction cup increases the monopod's effective footprint by ~20x, yielding a significant increase in stability when needed upon certain surfaces.  Retract the rubber cup to reveal a steel tip which provides a firm footing on soft ground.

This monopod foot can be removed and replaced at will, even in the field.

Fits the "D25" 25mm aluminum tube found upon the 681/681B monopod
Broad, ~2" rubber foot is great for hard, slippery surfaces

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great with Manfrotto 681B Monopod I purchased the Manfrotto 681B Monopod for the new Canon 500 f/4 lens that I also purchased from B&H. I was out shooting an Osprey nest and found this Monopod quite unstable - not a good thing with the 500! I then purchased this upgraded foot, put it on the Monopod and found it great to use. I don't understand why Manfrotto would sell the Monopod without it. This monopod is supposed to be able to handle 26.5 lbs, so why wouldn't they put a decent foot on it? This is a very decent foot. Too bad I had to pay over half the price of the monopod to get it. (Monopod was $59.99.DeeDee G.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does not fit my monopod I purchased this foot to replace the part that I lost from my Manfrotto 559B-1 monopod. It looked like the foot on the monopod but was not. I was, however, able to use the round rubber foot pad from this foot, which is what I lost in the Galapogos Islands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great two in one product I use it mainly with the suction cup down but when I need the spike it's just a matter of spinning the cup and the spike is ready to use.
