question
Is it possible to control zoom and focus with a LANC controller? like the Panasonic Lumix G X Vario PZ 45-175mm f/4-5.6 ASPH. POWER O.I.S. Lens (which I have and work very well)
I've never tried it with a LANC controller but I have been able to control both those parameters remotely without touching the lens. I imagine as long as the camera is compatible it will work.

question
Is this an internal zoom?
No. Lens extends and retracts when zooming.

question
When this lens is in M-Zoom (manual zoom) mode is that a mechanically-coupled purely physical zoom or is it an electronic assist or simulation whereby twisting the zoom ring drives the electronic zoom ?... i.e. does pulling the zoom ring to M-Zoom engage a physical clutch to directly drive the lens or does it trip an electronic switch to drive the EZ system in an assisted or simulated way?
Hi, yes I've had this lens for almost a year, camera & lens delivered less the 24hrs. before my trip to France. This lens gives me a lot of flexibility, I really don't care much for the auto zoom cameras, so this lens turned out perfect for manual zooming. I was, believe it or not really impressed with the auto zoom capabilities as well, but manual was my main focus. The user has total control (no electronic control, until you reengage back to E-zoom) the larger ring for zooming and the smaller ring allows for fine focusing, all manually. The lens is versatile, quick, responsive and tough, sense I travelled everywhere with it by Plane, Train, Automobile and Cycling thought the Loire Valley over the shoulder and it bouncing around everywhere. I bought the OM-D EM-1 with the 12-50mm, great setup. Enjoy.Carlton

question
Can I use this lens on a canon?
No. You can use on any Olympus or Panasonic Micro 4/3rds camera. Nice lens and compact. I like it even better than I thought I would. Most of my other lenses are single focal length f1.7 low light capable lenses.
