It may look like a miniature, but the Ranger Quadra A Head from Elinchrom is a grown-up flash head made to match the Quadra battery pack. Together, they'll give you 400 w/s of light, miles from the closest electrical outlet. And, with this special A speed head, you can freeze action at 1/6000 of a second. Coming in at under 1 1/2 lbs (including an 8' cable), the Quadra A Head has a very efficient LED modeling light, producing the equivalent of 40 watts with only a 20-watt bulb. It can take EL umbrellas up to 3.4' diameter, as well as Elinchrom reflectors and other light modifiers. Small is beautiful.
