Wein XT-Jr. overview

  • 1Description

SSR systems let you fire your slaved strobes without triggering flash. No need to hook up a PC cord to the main flash or use a camera-mounted strobe; the SSR transmitter replaces them both. Mount the compact transmitter on your hot shoe, or connect it to the camera PC terminal; each time you shoot, the SSR transmitter fills the studio with an invisible pulse of light.

Note:This is a transmitter only. A receiver is required (W930015 or W930010), or order this item as a system (W920125 or W920175).

    Wein XT-Jr. reviews

XT-Jr. Open Channel SSR-Jr. Transmitter is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great choice for older power supplies! I use Speedotron 2401A power supplies so I can not use the new Radio Transmitters for sync. The Wein system works great in the studio as well as on location.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from works great in the studio I had one of these at my old job in the studio. After my camera almost hit the floor in my new studio because my foot caught the PC cable, I ordered one for here. As long as you remember it never fires on the first shot, you have it made. For the price you can't beat this thing. I never have used it outside or in the field... I use small flash in that situation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very handy accessory Its small, not very expensive, fits in the hot shoe and fires my studio lights. You must have the appropriate receiver. I only gave it 4 stars because one burned out after about 4 years.
