These bags are ruggedly built and fit well. I've owned a set form my K8.2s and obtained these for a recently purchased set of K10.2s. Heavy duty zippers! Most importantly, they have a Velcro end flap custom located to provide access to the top/end handle of the speaker which is the most effective way to carry these speakers in most scenarios. I would subtract 1/2 a star as they are somewhat overpriced.
I bought this bag to carry my new K10 to and from gigs. I can't imagine carrying that beast without this bag but a few improvements for the price would be nice. The bag is well made and padded with a pole mount access flap on one end which means you can mount the speaker on a pole BEFORE taking off the cover. It has a front pocket large enough to carry a FEW accessories but considering how many accessories most people carry, I just carry the power cord in mine. It would be nice if it were a LITTLE bigger however, there is still ample room in the bag with the speaker inside to carry some extra junk (like a few mic cables) as long as it isn't too bulky. I have two knocks on the bag, first there is no shoulder strap. I realize that carrying a speaker over 20 lbs. with a shoulder strap isn't the greatest idea but at times just being able to hold it that way for a second to free up a hand would be nice. Adding a shoulder strap would require the webbing to go completely around the bag because a simple shoulder strap attachment loop wouldn't last long holding that amount of weight so I guess if it wasn't done right it would be a liabilitywhich may explain why there isn't one. The second knock is the lack of a stiffener on the bottom of the bag. The speaker is oriented in the bag with the grille facing down. That means the grill is on the BOTTOM of the bag. Even though the bag is padded, if you place a speaker that weighs over 20 pounds on an uneven surface (like partially over the tailgate of your SUV while loading), you will dent the grill. I know because I did If QSC had the bag maker insert a thick piece of plastic or Masonite between the bottom fabric of the bag and the padding, the speaker grill would be protected from dents. I am fabricating my own padded stiffener to place inside of the bag to prevent future damage but keep this in mind if you buy this tote bag!
