LabelWriter 450 USB Label Printer is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 85.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for routine office environments. Tried to use in industrial clean room environment but labels smudge/fade/discolor if alcohol or other liquids are applied. Only pre-cut paper labels of specific sizes are available. I could not register online because site would not accept serial number no matter how I entered it. It would help product selection if Dymo would show examples of printing capabilities rather than one line simple text labels. This printer can do multiple lines of text with addressable fields and multiple formats in addition to adding graphics and art. It is black print only. It would seem good for ordinary office environments where thin paper labels are all that is required.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WHY NOT WYSIWYG ? I work on mac Sierra. Just installed the software, but I don't manage to print properly : only a part of my designed text and logo is printed : on screen everything is in order and in place, once I print (the middle-size label), pieces of my design fall off : horrible ! why does the printer not recognize the label inside ? I tried alternating the bigger and the smaller label, but I don't manage to print the whole text and logo on one sticker : how comes, please ? help me out ! already twenty stickers gone so far .. I can't find what it is ... why on screen everthing fits nicely, and when printing ...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Printer Label! I highly recommend someone to buy this Label Printer. Same you alot of money buying ink cartridges.. When i first started this label printer, i have waste 3 to 4 labels before it work the way i wanted it. The labels gt jammed. I had to take it apart like a regular printer when the paper get jammed. After you understand how it work, everything is smooth. it is a extremely a wonderful label printer. i brought for the reason if printing label and stick it on the cover dvd for my clients for photography. It looks so professional when you give the dvd to your clients. I give it a ten stars if i have a chance.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works fine. Just don't turn it off Once the printer is installed, and as long as the printer is not unplugged thereafter from the power socket there are no issues. But if I turn off the printer, the next attempt to print results in jams, ghost print jobs (where the the machine keeps unspooling anywhere from 5 to 15 blank labels at a time), and also out-sized printing. In short, a great amount of frustration and wastage. After that initial bizarre behavior the printer works fine. Unless again if you happen unplug the printer, which I have had to do sometimes to move it to another location in the office, and try printing again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poorly manufactured, Propritiary stamps? I own a retail shipping facility and have managed them for 10 years. This is the worst product I am forced to use on daily basis. Most printer sense when their jammed and stop. Not the 450, it will just keep wrapping labels around itself until you pull the power. Then when your trying to unjam the printer, you realize that it wasn't built to be unjammed with out breaking further. To add injury to insult, unless your using WAY OVERPRICED dymo lables, they'll deny your warranty claim.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I've been looking for and at the lowest price! A great feature of having this Dymo label printer is that I can do one off labels very quickly and easily. It works with a number of programs and they make it as painless as possible to set up and use. Don't hesitate to shop for non-Dymo name brand labels because as you can imagine, they can be more expensive. Also, if you are using this with PayPal for shipping you might consider going to the 450 Turbo XL which can print 2 labels at once instead of one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from On/Off switch feature would be nice Since it is always on using electricity- you have to always be plugging in and out the plug from the machine, which is a hassel. Cost is the only reason I see Dymo not putting a on/off switch on the machine. What do you think?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Printing From ACCESS Got 450 to print labels 2-5/16x4" form MSAccess. After getting the bugs out of the access program Labels print great. With Access you have to remove your header and footer on your report page so that the printer doesn't print more than one label at a time.
