    Dymo 1752265 reviews

LabelWriter 450 Turbo USB Label Printer is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 98.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works well if you can get past the software problems The printer itself is very good - crisp print, fast and best of all no ink to mess around with (it's a thermal printer). I use it whenever I need to address an envelope, package, etc. (I generally don't hand address anything - I bought the 450 to replace an older model 400). I would have given it a higher rating except for the software. Beware that there is a dependence on Microsoft .NET version 3.5 service pack 1 (this EXACT version). After trying several potential solutions I had found on the internet, I finally got it working by reinstalling this version of .NET.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Long time Dymo User & Fan I love being able to have clear, crisp, large lettering on so,so many things. And not having to go to the Post Office--that makes it worth the price! Love being able to take it and laptop to large meetings to print readable name bags on the spot. I think this is still a bit more PC oriented than Mac but I've been using Dymo printers with my Macs for years anyway. The latest software had a glitch so I reverted back to the older version--works just fine. Only wish it had an off button; don't like that it is always on unless unplugged.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than expected... On the plus side: The labels are easy to load and print speed is very fast. The unit has a relatively small footprint, can use different size labels and you don't have to buy ink. Software installed without a hitch and integrates with other software (Microsoft Office, Outlook contacts, etc.). You don't have to waste an entire sheet of labels to print only a few. In my business I mail a lot of large and small envelopes. Using the pre-purchased 'stamp' labels saves trips to the post office. On the minus side: The labels from DYMO are somewhat pricey. Overall, however, a terrific product and I highly recommend it for anyone using labels.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Faster Than Previous Versions Have used Dymo printers for several years now, and have upgraded multiple times. This is my most recent upgrade, when my LabelWriter 400 Turbo 'died'. As always, getting the printer drivers installed was problematic, and had to contact technical support for instructions. I have NEVER been able to get the printers to work 'out of the box', and have always had to contact tech support. Eventually, however, they do work, and once working, they are fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great printer for Mac This is the second LabelWriter I have owned and it works as advertised. I use it to print mailing labels for my video business. The first one I had met with an accident and is the reason I had to buy a new one. It prints clear and concise and is a lot easier than reloading labels in my Epson printer every time I want to write labels. I buy most of my video needs and supplies from B&H due to their in stock merchandise and speed of delivery. They have never failed me yet over many years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We have 5 Dymo Label writers and couldn't lwithout We have used the Dymo label writers for years. Model 300 series through 450. I can't imagine the office without them. On top of it, I buy them from Dymo.com because they take care of any issues promptly and pleasantly. I initially thought they were expensive but now I feel they are so worth the money

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST LITTLE LABEL SYSTEM I used to use Avery labels in a regular printer and wound up needing sometimes just 5 or 6 price or shipping labels this resulted in many sheets with left over labels that went to waste. Also love the easy to use software that comes with this printer that allows us to produce shipping labels and they come out with consecutive numbers of the cartons printed on the label. If youhave a company logo you can load the file so it prints on your labels. There are no ribbons or inks to put into this machine , resulting in great savings. Can't say enough good about this solution and how it helps us. There are a variety of label sizes for different purposes. LOVE IT! I sell this product , but B&H beat my cost from all of my suppliers.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor experience out of the box. I bought this new on Amazon. Attempting to install to a Win 7 Ultimate, 64bit machine. USB 2.0 port right off of the motherboard. Downloaded v8.5.1 and installed the software. It installed, but when I click the icon to run it, it tries to launch for maybe 1 second then nothing happens. Tech support is only available 8a to 6p EST which are exactly my work hours. I guess I'll have to box it up and send it back. All in all a very disappointing experience.
