DS-1 Digital Slave Trigger With Hot-Shoe Mount is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big Help Doing some portrait photos of my grand kids, I found that I could change my flash lighting alot easier using a portable strobe and Hot shoe mount. Being in a wheelchair I find that using this digital slave meant for a lot less weight to move as well as portability

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done Has 2 slave modes; one for single flash, another to ignore a pre-flash. As stated in the title, it's not lavish as far as slaves go, but the price is right! Haven't tried it outdoors, but it worked in a banquet hall setting very well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It Does Work Using my Vivitar 285HV's inside of a very small apartment for shooting, it works as advertised, but seems to be very sensitive to differences in the amount of the vertical angle from the triggering flash.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works well, most modes Works well with my SB-25. It syncs with a flash from the camera on manual or TTL with preflash, but it won't work with CLS Commander mode. Great way to put an old flash to work with a DSLR.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work with D800 I bought this unit to use a Vivitar 283 as a slave with a pop up flash from a D800 in commander mode. My unit would only fire sporadically with this combination no matter what commander mode I set in the camera. Would not recommend this for D800 owners.
