question

Will thus lenses work with the canon rebel Xsi?
Asked by: Anonymous
Yes, it should. I am using this lens with a Canon Rebel T6i which is also an APS-C sensor type. I will mention that the lens feels a little too snug against the body, and ever since I heard people having issues with finding metal flakes, I'm always a little paranoid of it even though I haven't had a problem. Also, as mentioned by other people, this lens has a manual aperture dial on the lens.

question

Is there a cheap adapter -other than the metabones-Canon to micro 4\3rds (for gh4) that 1 can buy ? Also since it'll make it a 16mm , does it narrow the distortion? and last ?-May not be as sharp as Olympus 7-14mm 2.8 pro lens, but way cheaper,- Will it do ok for video ?
Asked by: DALE F.
This lens is made for APS-C sized sensors, which means that image will not be cropped. Do not expect it to narrow the distortion . This is a manual focus lens, which is suitable for video. Bower does make a 16mm lens, specifically for APS-C sensor cameras, which would not have as much distortion as the 8mm. There is also a 14mm for full frame sensors, which an APS-C sensor camera would noticeably crop the field of view. Compare the field of view specifications on the different lenses.

question

Does this lens work with a Nikon D5200 ?
Asked by: Stephen R.
No, I wouldn't think so. Rokinon makes one for Nikon though. And judging by its design, it looks identical. I think these third-party lenses are made in the same factory.
