    FUJIFILM instax mini 7S reviews

instax mini 7S Instant Film Camera (White) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 135.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Instant Fun! My husband bought this as a gift for me. I was iffy at first because of the small size of the prints - but they are great! The camera is somewhat bulky but I can easily slip it into my purse to take with us when we go out. It's easy to use and has different 'modes' for indoor, cloudy, sunny, & very sunny. Takes a few seconds to start-up which is kind of a bummer when trying to quickly capture a moment before it passes. Just take note that the viewfinder is not lined up exactly with what the lens will capture - but after a few pictures we have been able to figure where to align in the viewfinder to capture what we want. Over all its a great instant camera to have fun with!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great icebreaker for travel photography I bought this for travel photography after reading an article by Bob Krist. He uses this little camera to strike up a relationship with locals - after a short conversation and giving out a couple of instant photos of them, people are much more willing to pose for you and the rapport you have developed makes for much better portraits. I used the camera many times for this purpose and it works like magic. This is also great for the kids - they love the instant photos and our refrigerator is plastered with little Instax Mini prints. I also bought the full-sized Instax 200 for bigger prints but the camera is unbelievably big - more like a medium format rangefinder - and so it sits on the shelf while the Instax Mini gets used all the time. The photos are very small so they are more of a novelty than for serious photography, but they have a charm and personality that your 12MP DSLR prints can't touch. I bought the Intax 25 about a year ago from Hong Kong. It looks similar to the 75 here. The ergonomics are great - it even has an integrated vertical grip release and a tiny wide angle mirror on the front for composing self-portraits(!) The film refills are very expensive - about a dollar per print, but for your money you get a great spontaneous camera that has tremendous creative potential. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Granddaughters loved it!! Had this shipped to my granddaughters ages 7 & 9 so they could open it on Christmas morning. The girls love it. Took pictures of their best friend who slept over and gave her the picture to bring home with her. Her mom called my daughter-in-law and wanted to know what kind of Camera the kids had. Was it a Polaroid? No, it was the Fujifilm Instax Mini 7S. So happy I bought this for them. They've already taken a lot of pictures and filling up the album I had sent them too! The shipping was SPEEDY!!! Later I found out the my son...also buys from B&H and said their service and shipping is awesome! I agree. Thanks B&H...I will return for any future camera needs!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can you marry a camera? Yeah, I really love it. ... As for the camera, I expected it to be huge- and it was smaller than I expected, which was nice. But I still think it looks like a storm trooper. Doesn't matter because I bought it for the pictures- they are adorable, and the colors always turn out rad. Also- couldn't be easier to load film. The picture starts coming out of the top almost immediately after you press the button, and it takes about 3 minutes to be able to see the full image. The camera itself is affordable, but remember that part of the price is continually purchasing film. Just like the olden days. And still worth it. Ok, gotta go make my instax breakfast in bed. L8R.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great memory documentation. The camera is very easy to use. Very primitive, where you get to choose between sunny, very sunny, cloudy and indoors. These are all the settings or options you consider before taking a photograph. The poloroid quality of the picture is very nostaligic which serves the purpose of having memories of fun times. Very cool that you get to see the picture on the spot. One thing though is that the films are really small, 10 pictures only, which is first of all a bit expensive and second of all kind of a hastle to always carry around extra films etc.All in all it is a fun toy to play around with and for $ it's worth it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome Party Cam From the start this Camera is easy to use and the life of the party. To turn on and off a simple pull of the lens gets you ready to shoot. I've never used a Poloroid style camera with multiple settings for lighting types, so I find that it comes in handy and is a new feature of instant film for me. It is great for parties considering the instant photo. The camera is a little big to carry around easily but on the other hand its quite fun looking so your sure to get people looking and asking about it. All around this camera is a great way to get instant point and shoot results in a fun cool looking way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Instant gratification I love this camera.I switched over since Polaroid stopped producing their instant films. The images are so clear and crisp with great color! Although the pictures are small (wallet sized), it's convenient to carry around. The investment in this camera is worth it. It will not disappoint you!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from cute little instant camera The instax is a lot of fun. I've really enjoyed it in the few weeks I've been playing with it. It wont' replace any pro gear :) but it's a blast at parties and holidays. Everyone has to try it out so get extra film. The flash and metering system is very good for a little plastic camera. Pictures are well exposed and peoples faces have a nice glow (not too bright not too dark). the only con is the small picture size. It's about the size of a credit card (so half of an old style polaroid) which makes it just a touch too small for the scrap book. You can get 2 -3 people in a picture at a party but anymore and it's just too small.
