Leica Platinum Service for an S-Lens extends the full range of the Premium package to two years. It is an enhancement to the basic Premium Service Package and offers several additional benefits. The first benefit is a free of charge loan service during repair (24hr). The second add-on is that servicing is free of charge - and that will include one shutter replacement.
The policy also includes all the basic Premium Package offerings that Leica includes such as a Leica repair hotline, an exchange policy within the first three months after you purchase your new S-2 lens. You'll also have access to spare parts for six years. In addition, you'll be entitled to a 30% discount on repair charges.
Note: The policy starts from the date when your S-lens was first purchased
