The FLM boasts fully sealed optics and impressive lamp maintenance ensuring an overall lower cost of ownership. Barco's 3-Chip DLP technology provides excellent resistance to image deterioration over time. In a 3-chip DLP system, white light is passed through a prism that divides the light into red, green and blue. Each chip is dedicated to a primary color. The red, green and blue reflections from the 3 chips are combined and passed through the lens to project an image to make sure no image falls short of its true intention. In addition, Barco's new technologies improve reliability and provide flexible installation options with ease of use.
With 22,000 ANSI lumens of brightness, the projector is a full high-definition projector that can faithfully display HD content. The FLM comes with standard "Projector Toolset" software, offering basic control, diagnostics and other features (e.g. a lens program). Additional software plug-ins can be offered as an option delivering added functionality for multi-screen applications and advanced settings control.
