Logitech 910-001105 reviews

Performance Mouse MX Wireless Mouse (Retail Package) is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 126.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the comfort I was a diehard trackball mouse user for several years but even a trackball finally caused cramping in my hand. I spend 10 to 12 hours per day at the computer, so finding a mouse that wouldn't cause my hand to cramp up after a couple of hours sometimes seemed like tilting at windmills. The MX Performance mouse is by far the most comfortable mouse I've ever used. It's heavy for a mouse but glides easily, and it fits the curve of my hand very well. I don't know if Logitech makes one for southpaws, but I definitely recommend it for right-handed mousers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but could be better Middle button can't be clicked with precision to open a new tab for example. When you click it, it moves the mouse cursor up or down a bit, and you end up missing the link you wanted to click. Besides that, its precise, heavy, recharge in a few hours and battery last for a week or two. Package contains a USB cable to recharge while using, that you can use for other stuff as well, a AC adapter to recharge from the wall, and an extension cord for the wireless receiver, just in case your PC is a bit far from your mousepad. Unfortunately it cannot be used on a Playstation 3, probably because the Unifying requires a driver that Sony never bother to update into PS3.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Mouse I came to this mouse after the Microsoft Sculpt ergonomic mouse. The microsoft is more comfortable however this mouse is much more durable, well built, much more accurate, works on much more types of surfaces, and have a nice feeling to touch and hold. Also the clicking sound on this mouse is quite compared to the microsoft which is annoying. The only downside is the battery life, I have to charge it almost once everyweek. I am a heavy user though and the battery that comes with it could be replaced with a eneloop for better performance. Its kinda heavy too to carry around in your laptop bag.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Fit for Relatively Large Hand Exceptionally comfortable for my hand, although for some reason required me to get a gel support to prevent wrist tightness. Works reliably and accurately, and the rechargeable battery seems to last much longer than some have apparently experienced. (I do keep it on lower resolution unless I need it for graphics, so maybe that's the reason.) Only complaint is the mouse with my laptop with another Logitech unifying receiver doesn't work anywhere near my desktop with this new Mouse MX, and that gets to be a nuisance. One has to be disconnected and to reconnect it needs another software redo.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent Hardware, Terrible Support Pro: An overall decent mouse. * Hyper-fast scrolling is great for web browsing and long documents. * Physical button to toggle between scrolling modes without requiring additional drivers/software (SetPoint). * Finally able to replace the battery without having to disassemble the mouse. Con: Has some quirks, mainly involving the new unified receiver. So far Logitech is dismissing these issues rather than actually resolving them. (See their website's forum for details) * Some computers detect the receiver as a bootable USB device and hang on start up. * Vista/Win 7 will not respect power management settings for sleep mode for this mouse (XP is fine). Mixed: Uses the relatively new Micro USB plug to recharge, as opposed to the already well supported Mini USB connector. Overall, a decent enough mouse. Can't say it's an upgrade from the MX Revolution, but some things have definitely improved.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have! I love the button on the bottom. I have that set to show desktop. Very easy to press. But even more than that is the super fast scroll. It has a weighted scroll wheel. With a quick flick, you can scroll through pages of documents. With a button click, you can turn this feature off. They got rid of the charging dock & replaced it with a cable. If you forget to charge the mouse, just plug it in while you're using it! The plastic feet are bigger. In the past, the smaller feet sometimes fell off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seriously awesome I am the world's biggest mouse snob. I've probably spent $1,000 on mice over my career and I can't stand most bluetooth or other wireless mice. I am a professional game developer and I can feel latency in my soul. I have owned wireless mice from Apple, Dell, Microsoft and Logitech. Almost no mice meet my standards. This mouse is my new go to mouse. It replaces my previous generation Logitech MX Revolution. Not only does this mouse have excellent latency, the receiver is awesomely small, and the charging system is amazing. Previous generations of this mouse require a cradle to charge. This is fine, except when you get in to work and your mouse is dead, and you have to put it in its cradle and can't mouse for an hour while it charges. This mouse does not have a cradle, it will charge off USB power so you can use it while it's charging if you get into that situation. I also like the click to select the mouse wheel mode (click vs freewheel).
