I wish to first test raid 1 to see if it is fastest enough for my workflow, but will likely end up using raid 0. Is it easy to switch raid configuration? I assume I would have to reformat?
Asked by: Andrew
Yes, it is fairly easy to change the RAID from 1 to 0 . But you are correct that it would reformat the drives.

question

Are the removable drives proprietary or can I use my own drives?
Asked by: Anonymous
The drives designed to work with it are attached to a carrier that fits in the RAID unit. If you don't mind taking apart the original drives and removing and reattaching the carrier, you could use other drives as well.

Is this okay to use in Europe? And if so, is there a power cord that I could use there with this?

The included AC adapter supports 100-240v. Please note that the included plug is the US plug. You would need a plug adapter to use in Europe.
