Blending a warming effect with the versatility of a polarizer, the 72mm Thin LB Warming Circular Polarizer Filter from Singh-Ray is a unique filter featuring a "Lighter, Brighter" design that affords 0.6 stops more brightness than other circular polarizer filters. At its core, this filter helps to reduce reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarized due to reflection from a non-metallic surface. This results in a noticeable increase in the saturation of skies and foliage, as well as clearer imagery when photographing in hazy conditions. The warming effect then complements the increase in clarity and saturation by providing an even, warm cast to subjects.

This filter is constructed from optical glass for clarity and features a lightweight, durable aluminum alloy filter ring. This thin-style ring measures 4.8mm thick and lacks front threads in order to reduce the likelihood of vignetting on wide-angle lenses.

Reduce reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarized due to reflection from a non-metallic surface.
Arrange and filter directionally polarized light perpendicularly to the reflected light allowing for the absorption of much of the light.
Lessens haze in distant landscapes and provides more saturated, vivid colors.
Strongest effect when used at a 90° from the sun.
"Lighter, Brighter" design enables shorter shutter speeds or smaller apertures to be used compared to other circular polarizer filters.
Warming effect adds a red/yellowish tone to imagery in order to minimize overwhelming cool tones and add a brighter appearance.
Lightweight, durable aluminum alloy filter ring measures 4.8mm-thick.
Thin filter ring helps to prevent vignetting when used on wide-angle lenses.
Constructed from optical glass to provide high image quality and clarity.
Leatherette pouch with microfiber interior for storage and transport

72mm Thin LB Warming Circular Polarizer Filter is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from well made but overpriced for what it is Excellent build, but like most of Singh_ray filters, it is pricey. While the Vari-ND filter I own is justifiably so due to it's uniqueness, this filter really isn't unusual other that being maybe 1 stop lighter that comparable warming CPL's such as the moose type made by several manufacturers. A major drawback is that you will need a slip on 75mm cover/cap (for the 72mm filter) to protect it as the snap and screw type caps won't stay in due to the thin design. (And yes, you do need a 75mm diameter cap to fit the OUTSIDE of the filter. I ordered a 72mm cap and it was too small). The thin design does keep it from vignetting on my 15-85mm zoom.
