    Pyle Pro PLTTB3U reviews

PLTTB3U Professional Belt-Drive Turntable with USB Output is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from New Vinyl Record Player The Pyle Pro player works great....my wife is so happy, after 10 years she can finally play many of her favorite LPs. To be honest, the sound is clearly much better over and above when compared to the same tracks on CDs...unfortunate that the music industry 'digitized' something which should have remained 'analogous'. Setup was easy though I had to buy some female-to-female RCA adapters as the RCA cables (4 feet) are quite short and could not reach my Denon Receiver. Also, make sure you switch the 'Line/Phone' switch in the back otherwise the audio output will be very low - this threw us for about 15 minutes at first. Otherwise, great product so far...my wife is happy, therefor I am happy. Thanks guys!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exactly what I expected to record my alb The turntable does the basic applications you really need, but with features that let you burn discs with good quality. Remember that the discs are recorded as they are (good or bad), but the turntable has very good applications to graduate the weight of the needle and revolutions. It is important to have the quilt to prevent lint and dust in the mechanisms of the turntable. You can plug any music system (eg, home theater) with RCA. It's really good to start and stay with it until you decide to be professional about it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A decent turntable I just wanted a basic turntable to play some old records I found. This does that fine although the platter is not completely level so the torn arm goes up and down when it's playing a record. This causes skipping sometimes and I compensate for it by adding more weight to the tone arm which might cause records to get worn faster. I'm not sure if all the PLTTB3Us do this or just mine. One other thing is this is a belt-drive turntable, not a direct-drive. I don't know why they would make such a false statement. If you only have $ get this (obviously), if you have more money or can save, get something higher quality. I'm gonna save up for the Technics SL1200 for my next turntable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for I bought this because it had a lot of features for the money, plus decent reviews here at B&H. However the speed wasn't consistent (pitch continually rises and falls), so that pretty much kills the product if you can't stand to listen to it. I returned it, spent more $ on the AT-LP120USB, and couldn't be happier!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wouldn't recommmend it I needed the product to not only record my records to a nice digital mp3 file, but I also needed it for djing. Needless to say this product was not great. The quality that was produced was pretty bad, and the audacity program for it was not helpful at all. And this product CANNOT be used with ANY DJ software.. if you're sole purpose of a turntable is for that then do not even think of this. The speed rates weren't great either. Unless you want to decorate your home, this product is not worth more than 15 bucks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from more awesome than I imagined I needed a simple turntable, nothing fancy. Got that and a bit more with this Pyle unit. Was nice to find that it supported regular phono connection as well as line level output with a simple switch on the back. Connected easily with my Onkyo receiver Phono input (don't know cartridge type). My only complaint is that the audio cable is crazy short, like a foot or 18inhces at best. Almost had to go out and buy an adapter cable just to hook up to my receiver 2 feet away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Perfect Throw-Back If you're like me -- thrown away all but those irreplaceable 100 vinyls, this is the Perfect Throw-Back turntable. At under $100, it's practically free. It's simple to use and slimly elegant. It's everything you need without spending more than you want. And did I mention, like Johnny Cash, it's dressed in black?
