The LDS Monte Zucker Pneumatic Posing Stool has a pneumatic cylinder, it takes the pressured power of compressed gas and forces it through a chamber which then moves a piston in the required location. This movement and force enable the posing stools to raise or lower down. Once you have the seat assembled, simply sit down and pull up on the lever; this will release the air pressure in the cylinder and the seat will lower. If it is low and you want the posing stool to extend simply pull up on the lever to allow the cylinder to rise and fill with air.

The following unit just needs 25lbs of pressure to lower the seat.
