Excellent Monopod For The Price!

You could spend a lot more money for a comparable, but not necessarily better, monopod. Induro makes great stuff without an inflated price and this mono is no exception to that. It's sturdy and holds my sony 100-400 and a900 steady without any problems, and since it's carbon fiber, of course it's very light. It's perfect for carrying on hikes when a tripod might be a little too much to bother with. For the current price, this monopod is a steal (and I might add B&H has the best price on it by far when looking around. Highly recommended!

GREAT Tripod

I actually purchased this monopod to use with my 600mm lens. I put a quick release plate on it which lets me switch from my gimbal head from the tripod to the monopod with ease. I like having a handle (the gimbal head) to hold on to instead of just the monopod. It's very light and solid - well worth the money. I can't imagine a more expensive monopod performing any better than this one.

Very steady monopod

Excellent monopod that is very rigid, very lightweight, holds a substantial weight without collapsing, has great ergonomics, is very quick to deploy, all at a very competitive price. This is my second monopod and a huge upgrade from my low cost entry level monopod that I purchased just to see if I liked using one. I shoot with a Nikon D800 and the very high pixel count makes it's nearly impossible to avoid camera shake without some kind of support. This one is rock solid.

Lightweight, but very solid

Exactly what I wanted. Easy to operate, very solid. Holds my D-610 with 70-200 lens easily. Adjustment collars are easy to loosen/ tighten and once tightened, don't slip.

Strong & Light

I was strictly a Gitzo and Manfrotto user until I bought an Induro carbon fiber tripod last year.. The price was 1/3 of a Gitzo with 95% of the attributes and then some. When B&H offered a deal on an Induro monopod, I jumped at it. It's the lightest one I own but easily supports my biggest optics & bodies (300mm f/2.8 and 200-400mm f/4)

pleasant surprise

I got this monopod to supplement my tripod. This one was on sale and was reviewed well, so it was attractive, but it was still somewhat of a gamble for me, as I did not know this brand. I was quite surprised at the product. It is very well made, the twist locks work well, and the monopod came with a holster. I think that the workmanship, construction and materials compare well with that of my high-end tripod, and I am very pleased with the purchase.

I had been looking at monopods for a while when I found this Induro CM34 on sale. I had read great reviews of the CM34 here, and on other sites, so I decided to purchase this one. The Induro is much nicer than I had expected. It is compact and light, but also very strong even when fully extended. The twist locks are large and well designed, engage and disengage smoothly, and can be easily operated even when wearing heavy gloves. The design and build quality is top-notch and I expect to be using this Induro for many years.

Hi Andrey Z, the diameter of the thinnest leg section is 2.2cm, and the rubber foot does not seem to be removable. Cheers, Kerry
