Kata 3 in 1 Sling Reviews

Kata Sling Backpack was a no go.

I only owned this for less than a couple hours because once I unpacked it and tried it out I knew immediately that this bag would not work. The bag lots cool pockets and places to store things. My problem was straps. They were terrible, uncomfortable, and just didn't feel right. I can't even imagine using this for very long.

Exactly what I was looking for!

I used it for motorsports photography. It provided me enough space to accomodate my phot kit. It's very comfortable to carry as a regular backpack, sling or X. I will consider buying a bigger one if I upgrade my equipment.

I use it mostly for motorsports photography, which means walks a lot, switch lenses and be prepared for sudden action without warning. This bag accomodates my entire kit which contains a Canon 7D, 70-200 f/2.8, 18-200 f, Extender 2x, card readers, batteries and memories. The only problem is the 70-200 lens hood which is bulky and bothers the entire setup inside the bag. I fixed that carrying the lens hood into the top part of the bag. I'm not a slim man but this bag manages to fit perfectly my curves hahahaha

I used this for a wedding once and although I did not carry it around all day, I could have. Small, holds my camera body with 16-35mm lens attached, an extra lens (85mm) and could have easily held an additional small lens. I however used the extra space for my battery charger. I could not fit my flash in it though...or perhaps I just did not mess with it enough. Worked great for what I needed. Has a lot of little features. (pockets, place of iPad, little rain poncho for the bag) I wore it with one strap diagonal across my chest. Nice and compact. I love it so far.

Great size for a small DSLR and iPad

Keeps all my gear organized and safe, well padded. Use it to hike and it has enough room for a day hike. No chest strap and rides a little high on the waste if you're 6 ft or taller. Quality zippers and hardware. IPad fits but only with the apple cover, thicker sleeves will not fit.

Perfect size

Backpack fits well. I like the ability to go from backpack to sling.

Smaller than it looks

I purchased this product thinking it would fit my camera nicely, however it barely fit with the 28-200 lens attached, and I had to squeeze the other lenses in. If I had another telephoto it would not have fit. I'm not sure who keeps a laptop with a 9 screen but that's all it will fit. The bag also felt a little weird on my back. I ended up returning it.
