Kino Flo 201 reviews

Diva-Lite 201 Fixture (120 VAC) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Interview Light! Many people suggest using this as a fill or hair light for talking heads interviews but I find it to be more than adequate as a key light. I just haven't found myself wishing I had more light from this unit for talking head setups and often find myself dimming it. Given that I travel, you can't beat the size of this unit compared to the larger Diva. I don't like the silver eggcrate that comes with it. I don't know why it's silver and not black as a reflective surface seems to run counter to what an eggcrate is supposed to do. In the future I might pick up a honeycomb louver for controlling light spill as well as a flozier as I find that the light from this unit seems a tad harsh.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Kino Flo is in the Know As a quick setup style filmmaker, I find that florescent lighting is so much easier to work with, opposed to Halogen. Bulbs last longer, it matches outdoor lighting (when you have cool temp bulbs) and it doesn't make a room feel like an oven. It is about 3 feet in length, so you may need a few more lights in your lighting kit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No nonsense location light! I've had a Diva-Lite 400 for years and it has worked flawlessly ever since. I bought this smaller Diva to replace my 1K Chimera setup for interview shoots. The Diva is compact and light, produces very pleasing soft light and is a great unit for travel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful fixture! Light quality is what it's all about. Anyone can shoot something interesting, but not everyone can light. The Diva is a standard setter. Daylight and tungsten bulbs are available. Easy to modify. Soft main light.
