    Zacuto Z-1/4-LS2 reviews

    1/4 20" Lens Support with 2.5" 15mm Lightweight Rods is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great with SONY FS7 and Canon 70200mm I've been very happy using this to support a Canon 70200mm with a Shape baseplate connected to a SONY FS7. Unlike some of the other lens support systems, I like that this one will actually screw into the foot of the lens. Other devices that just let the lens rest on the support aren't as appealing to me because I shoot a lot in construction sites where the camera can be bouncing around when traveling off road, so I feel very secure knowing that the lens is locked into place with this guy. I probably could have gotten away with ordering the shorter rod in this setup. It would be nice if the bottom of the rod was textured to make it a little easier to screw in. Yes, it's expensive, but it does a great job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another great Zacuto product! I got this to support my new Sony 18-110mm lens on my FS7. Works perfectly to take some of the pressure off the lens mount with this heavy lens. Mounted on 15mm rods of Zacuto baseplate/tripod adaptor--had to mount it backward to make it easier to adjust and not interfere with follow focus mounted just behind. Works perfectly. expensive, but very well made--you know-Zacuto!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Need this to support heavy lenses I use this with the Z-M-UB Mini Baseplate by Zacuto and the 35-100mm f/2.0 ED Zuiko Digital Zoom Lens By Olympus. It's a little tricky to connect to the bottom of the lens but once it's in, it does the trick. It looks like it will last us a very long time and Zacuto has prided themselves on delivering quality products.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from my Nikon 70-200 loves this Yeah, the dumb thing has FIVE (!?!) Zacuto logos on it, but it works as advertised. It's a little close to my Zacuto DSLR mount, but it slips in perfectly and holds the lens in place for my RedRock wireless focus controller/motor. This replaces a Jag that was horrrrrrible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Must have for Run and Gun Filmers Yes, it is kind of expensive, but the quality is top notch. I tote around a Zacuto Scorpion with a Mark III and if I try and toss on my 70-200mm - I don't stand a chance to keep it stable and risk breaking my lens connector if I don't support it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good reliable Zacuto's the best Zacuto is not cheap, but you pay for a real quality and you have it. Good for lenses or monitor or external video recorder. You will find various uses when you need to rely on a sturdy professionnal accessory.
