The PA-IRSYS from Califone is an installed infrared audio system that provides ample sound coverage and volume to a room. Ideal for use in classrooms and other institutions, the system consists of a base-station cabinet with a mixer, 2 wireless microphones, 2 array speakers, and a pair of ceiling-mounted receivers.
Having 2 wireless microphones allows 2 different speakers to work simultaneously to make a presentation. One mic is handheld, while the other is head-worn and connects to a beltpack transmitter. Both the handheld mic and beltpack transmitter can be docked in the wall cabinet for charging.
The cabinet features an integrated mixing panel with volume controls for both mics, bass and treble controls, and an IR receiver. The ceiling-mounted receivers provide a large coverage area for wireless audio. The included array speakers provide targeted sound patterns and evenly-distributed volume, allowing everyone to hear the audio. The speakers have 3.5mm, XLR, and 1/4" inputs, letting you connect a variety of additional sound sources for playback. The system can also connect to PC/Mac teleconference systems, letting an entire room participate in conference calls.
