    Audio-Technica AT8313-25 reviews

    AT8313-25 XLRF - XLRM Balanced Microphone Cable 25' (7.6 m) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 33.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Durable Good cable for the price and audio sounds fine. But after using it extensively for the past couple weeks, it broke down on me. There was breakup noise when the cable was bent a certain way. I found the problem to be inside the cable not at the connector end. I used a cable tester and found a faulty connection on the ring connection. I got a good use out of it before it broke though but I would not recommend it for production because it is just not durable enough. Although there is a 5 year warranty on the cable, Audio Technica does not pay for shipping repairs, so it is not even worth sending it back to them. I'd rather invest in a better quality cable and know it will last years, not months.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A BEST VALUE, SKIP THE PRICIER AT CABLES I first bought the more expensive AT cables and XLR's for my new to me Panasonic DVC80 cam. Imagine my surprise when occasional audible hum ruined an interview, and was a problem during subsequent testing. 7 year old camera? Nope! I threw out the bad cables and tried these. They are great. Save $3, get another 5 ft. and be thrilled with awesome, clean audio!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Save Your 8 Bucks. I foolishly bought this cable thinking I had found a good deal. Audio Technica is supposed to make pretty decent products but this peice of garbage is not one of them. I used with the Tram TR50 Lav microphone and the shotgun mic included on the JVC GY-HM 100U. The cable produced an unusable buzzing through both mics that neither exhibit when used with other cables. The sheathing is thin and doesn't seem durable at all. The packaging had words misspelled on it, a sign of cheap foreign manufacturing. I know you get what you pay for but seriously? This thing is unusable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good deal Bought this to run from my camera to my shotgun mic on a boom pole. No issues. Solid cable, great price. Plus it's always good to have a solid XLR as a backup in case your wireless goes. We all know that can happen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good XLR Cable We use the XLR cable to connect our Canon XHA1S to our AZDEN SGM-2X microphone on a 5' boom pole. We get a little bit of static using the windscreen that comes with the microphone (we don't have a deadcat yet), but we're not sure if that's the cord or the microphone's fault. Either way, it's very minor and easily fixed in Adobe Soundbooth when we need to (we currently have CS5), and when we're rendering our files out to H264 for internet upload, it doesn't matter anyway. So far we've had no problems with the cord; we've just ordered another one to get to 50'. Warning to starting videographers: 25' gets eaten up quickly when the guy with the boom pole is walking around (I was that guy for our last shooting), even in a small room. Get two of these or just get a longer cord. We're a start-up company, so it was a pleasure to get such a great cord for this price, especially with the clips on either end which you really don't want to go without. No cons to report.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT MIC CABLE FOR THE PRICE! Couldn't believe the price of this 20' mic cable. Purchased as a replacement cable for my Church. Was surprised at the thick insulation of the cable itself which lends itself to durability. Highly satisfied with this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Another cable I got this product because I needed more cables for my home studio. I works great and isn't too expensive. When I get a U87 and a 1073 I'll be sure to upgrade to fancy cables, but this will work great for now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Brainer Name brand cord at an insanely great price. The label says value series, which makes me wonder what the others are....the spend extra series? These are good study cords.
