The Lens Cover For Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8G VR II Lens from LensCoat covers the lens with a 100% closed-cell neoprene coat that protects the lens from bumps and scratches. Ideal for nature and outdoor photographers, and for sports shooters and photojournalists. It also provides a thermal barrier, protecting the hands from cold lenses in lower temperatures. The cover is waterproof, providing protection in inclement weather. It also helps break up the shape of the lens, making it less noticeable to wildlife.

The Realtree Advantage Max4 HD camouflage pattern offers maximum effectiveness in open terrain. The pattern incorporates cattails, millet, milo, corn stalks, sunflowers, oak and maple leaves, cedar and oak limbs, plus a variety of other plant life into the largest camouflage artwork on the market.

This lens cover is made in the USA.

    LensCoat LCN70200V2M4 reviews

Lens Cover For Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8G VR II Lens (Realtree Max4 HD) is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Confessions of an Accessory Addict I love accessories. I follow a number of bird and nature photographers who highly recommend LensCoat. The good news is that at least for this lens, most of the lens IS protected with the various bands provided for the segments of the lens. (That is not the case for the 80-400 version). Pretty cheap materials for the price. Eack segment seems to fit OK, but is finicky to apply so that you have reasonably clean edges. And the band that goes on the portion nearest the lens mount has some stretchy little hole that you are supposed to be able to line it up so you can see the white lens alignment Dot. Forget it. Also, the windows are pretty inadequate. Not quite the right size to see what you need. Pretty disappointed, and spent too much!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not a bad buy This is first lens cover I have ever owned. I purchased it to protect the surface of my Nikon 70-200mm 2.8 VRII lens from scratches, nicks, and to add another barrier between my bare hands and lens when shooting in cold weather conditions. The Lens Cover was easy to install on my lens since the manufacturers supplied instructions were well written and easy to follow along. Piece #6 fits over the limiting switches. It has a clear plastic window for you to make your adjustments. The manufacturer suggests you may want to gingerly punch holes in the plastic to have easier access to your switches, I have not done so as of yet, but, I can see how it will make it easier to access the switches since the plastic is thick. This kit also includes an optional neoprene adhesive strip to apply to the rotating collar. I have not applied it to my lens collar.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good product, but..... Several pluses for this product; the lenscoat adds additional padding making this nice to hold on an all day shoot. The cover keeps the lens cool when exposed to sun. On the minus side; the cover doesn't fit as tight on the lens hood as one would expect and has already started to curl on the bottom edge. This is after less than 2 weeks on the lens. The clear window over the lens control is too short and does not fit smoothly over the controls. I would recommend the product, and would rate it higher except for the clear window.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as expected I purchased this for two reasons. First to help hide the camera and lens when photographing wildlife. Second to help keep my fingers from getting cold shooting football in cold weather.I have not used it for wildlife yet but have noticed it will need to be handled carefully. If you pull it away from the lens it will snap back with an audible snap that would alert wild life.It does help keep fingers warm acting as a barrier between the cold lens and fingers. Some of the holes could be a little larger but if you pay attention to where you align them they will suffice.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice product but... Good product, but we will find this product has a lower cost in the future. They asked too much money for a product that costs little to produce, Chinese will start production of a copy of this product and will sell to the tenth of the price. The company should establish a correct price for product like this. This product is to easy to copy. 89.99$ for this product is exorbitant price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good fit and durable This is an essential accessory for me. My fingers used to get very cold when using this lens outside in the winter. I added some of this Lencoat cover to the lens and solved the cold fingers problem. I didn't use all the pieces. I want the zoom ring exposed and the part for the lens shade seemed silly. The part that covers the buttons becomes askew easily when I take the camera in and out of my camera bag.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not worth the money Disappointing at best. Did not expect several separate pieces to be fitted to the lens. Directions tell to put piece #1 here and #2 there but the pieces themselves are not numbered and of different sizes. Certainly not weatherproof what with all the seams between pieces. Would not recommend, would not purchase any addditional ones.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not bad at all. Every piece fits nicely. For piece 6, I have to lift it up in order to slide those controls. And I didn't use the adhesive piece on the lens collar. Overall I'm quite happy with the product.
