The Bower RCWC3R Wireless Shutter Release Set is an extended range wireless system designed for professional and advanced amateur users of select Canon cameras with a 3-pin connector. The set consist of the receiver and the shutter release transmitter. The remote system is very handy for taking pictures of subjects that are difficult to approach, or to minimize vibration for close-ups and time exposure. RCWC3R Wireless Shutter Release Set is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Zapper gives great candids This allows me to set up several cameras and either use one remote and change the channel or carry several remotes and fire from different angles. Do not need line of sight so can fire from around the corner. This has helped my wife and I take some *personal* photos without having to really pose and keep getting up to hit the timer. Fun and useful. Will also help at weddings where I can set up several cameras and fire them all from one spot without disturbing the proceedings by moving around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! Love this shutter release! I do a lot of light painting and my Canon only does a 30 second exposure on Bulb setting. This will hold shutter open indefinetly... or until the battery dies. Just have to hold for 3 seconds and it is locked open. When finished, just push and the shutter releases. Light and good quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm really happy with it As an old man, if I can shoot with my camera on a tripod and I don't come in contact with the camera, the better the shoot and this does the trick. And no cord to work into the picture like the older cable attachments. I no longer worry about my shadow in the picture.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I would buy this again I use the control for landscape photography and when ever shooting in lower light situations on the tripod. I find it works very well and has a good range. The release unit is a little light so you need to be careful where you sit it, back pocket would not be good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works good but could be better It works good especially for the price. I did not test the distance but it works with the camera in another room. There are 2 improvements that would make this better. 1. There is no way to mount it. The receiver just hangs from the port I would like to have seen a hot shoe mount (and longer cable) and/or a 1/4-20 threaded hole to mount it on something. 2. The transmitter uses an odd battery. It should have been made to use standard AAA batteries like the receiver. Other than that it works great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous Used on professional portrait sessions using the 5D Mark II. I am able to maintain constant eye contact with my subjects which allows me to capture great expressions.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good wireless release for the money Good release for the money. Not a ton of bells and whistles, but it has the basics covered. For my light usage, it's perfect.
