    Lowepro x450 AW reviews

Pro Runner x450 Rolling AW Backpack is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 40.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bag! I bought this when BH was having a sale but I think even at full price I'd be happy with it. It has a ton of room inside! For the last wedding I shot, I had the following: Nikon D800 Nikon D750 Nikon 24-70 Tamron 70-200 Tamron 15-30 Tamron 35 Tamron 90 Phottix Mitros and Odin Yongnuo 560IV and 560-tx Extra EnEl15 batteries Magmod accessories and gels Rogue Flash bender I had pretty much filled every pocket to make sure I had all I needed with me. The case rolled wonderfully and the zippers felt nice and secure. Gets a bit too heavy for backpack use though it has the straps for it and the rain cover is a nice extra I highly recommend this if you need to carry a lot of gear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the Backpack But... I bought this backpack since with a bad back even using a backpack style camera bag was getting too much so the idea of rolling the camera bag seemed like a solution. This is a BIG camera bag and will hold a ton of stuff. It might be too big to actually use as a backpack. This camera bag has been rolled on pavement, grass, etc with no problems and seems balanced that when rolling it so it doesn't start twisting when rolling. The bag has an access sleeve designed for papers, pens & a laptop. I wish that this sleeve was customizable so that I could put my memory cards in there etc so don't have go into the bag to retrieve.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wasn't worth the risk I'm returning my 450. I took it too the airport and it will not pass for a carry on. My local airline said they would let it go through, but she couldn't promise anything for another airline. I can't take only one flight from where I live, so I'm outta luck. It's to deep to meet the 10 inch rule. And I was so looking forward to getting back into a lowepro product!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bag Just grabbed my 2nd one of these. It's on sale at $$, I think because there is a new version of this bag now. It's a great bag, durable wheels, converts to backpack, I can hide the backpack straps easily. Bag 1 has two D810s with attached 24-70 & 70-200, 5 flashes, 5 Flex TT5s, and room for batteries, hoods, and other small items in the lid pockets. Yeah, its a bit heavy, but hence the wheels. Probably too big for overhead bin if your flying.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lots of Room! Hard to zip and handle hard to retract This bag totally would've gotten 5 stars, but the zippers are a pain (constantly catching on the material), and the handle is difficult to retract (I have to continually slide it up and down until it retracts). I love how much we can fit in it! We had three camera bodies, four flashes, and around 4 lenses, one of which was a 70-200mm. Overall very satisfied, just some glitchiness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bag, well balanced. Holds my D200, 5 lenses, 2 flashes, Dell xps studio 16 (with a case logic slipcase(the included case was too small). Very comfortable to wheel. Heavy fully loaded but can stlii be worn as a backpack, very comfortable & heavily padded.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most Versatile It is very customizable and its layout is well thought out. I store my Sony A77 with attached 28-300 zoom along with the following and it all fits: Flash, 70-200mm f2.8, Sigma 50-500, two 2Xteleconverters, 18-70 wide angle zoom, 50mm f1.4prime, plus other various accessories. The specs claim a storage for 14 inch laptop but without the sleeve I can include my 15.4 inch laptop. The wheels and telescoping handle is a welcome bonus. Though with all that mentioned gear it may be cumbersome as a backpack although the shoulder straps arrangement is quite comfortable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed I have to say that my old Think Tank Airport Commuter bag is a better security bag over the Lowepro Pro Runner x450 Rolling AW Backpack because it doesn't have any way to lock the bag. Also when you slide a smaller bag over the handle it do a 360 because the pull up handle only has a single bar handle. With the double bar handle the bag that you slip over the handle won't do a 360.
