    Redrock Micro microArm reviews

4" Micro Arm Long (Black) is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from unexpectedly poor quality from redrock it's easy to understand the mechanic and design of the product. unfortunately i find it nearly impossible to tighten it down to ensuring it doesn't swing around. not only is the tension knob hard to tighten, severe elbow grease it needed to attach to the rig without running the risk of it untwisting itself loose. it hard to adjust the arm since only one knob is uses to tighten the whole arm instead of separate knob/lever for the three moving joints. assuming this is the normal quality to be expected, i wouldn't recommend anyone risking their investment using this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not so good I own a 8in field monitor with an anton bauer battery brick on the back. I have to be %110 certain that the arm is locked down or it will fail catastrophically and drop the monitor. This has happened numerous times. If you do purchase this, make sure that you own a light monitor. Anything above 5in with a large battery, you may want to look at something else.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works for it's intended purpose Using with the Redrock Micro DSLR Field Cinema Deluxe Bundle V2 Rig and the 5 Marshall LCD Monitor. I wish the bolt on both ends were the same lengths for setting a nut on for better adjustment, but for lightweight use small monitor etc... it works well. I would not push the limits of the load test, it's not a C-stand. I can see where using the 1.5 arm would come in handy as well, but this was long enough to go around the follow focus so it wouldn't be in the way but short enough to still see.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from EHHH NOT SO GREAT WELL FIRSTLY THE LOCK DOESNT WORK THAT WELL AND THE ARMS DONT SUPPORT THE WEIGHT LISTED. I WAS USING A DSLR CAMERA WITH BATTERY PACK AND IT WASNT HOLDING. THE SMALLER OF THE TWO ARMS IS A DESIGN DISASTER AND THE BALL JOINT THAT HOLDS IT IS NOT SECURELY LOCKED ONTO THE PART THAT CONNECTS TO THE CAMERA...SO IT KEPT SPINNING AND WOULD NOT SECURELY LOCK....SO UNLESS I HAPPENED TO BE UNLUCKY ENOUGH TO BUY A DEFECTIVE ONE...I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND WASTING YOUR HARD EARNED BUCKS ON IT

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works Great for my monitor. It's perfect for my Small HD montior when using on the Cheese Plate of Redrock.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dangerous This product is a disaster and it is beyond me why Redrock Micro would sell such a poorly designed product. Upon tightening, the end holding the accessory pops right off of the end of the arm, followed by a pin, followed by the bottom of the arm. It is a disaster and frankly, looking at how poorly designed this is I am surprised there is any reviews with any more than one star. Your expensive EVF will be in jeopardy of damage on this arm. AVOID.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Get's the job done I primarily use this with my 7 Marshall monitor on a 7D camera rig. The monitor is heavy with the panasonic battery on it, so considering the weight it has to hold, this arm does a decent job. Went through two other brands of arms before this one, and this one is holding up the best. When I used it with a lightweight 5 Marshall, it performed extremely well... the 7 is just too heavy for most arms in this price range.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great accessory I had the short micro arm that came with my LowDown kit. I liked it, but wanted more versatility so I got this longer one. Super strong, super flexible! I use this extra arm to do all sorts of stuff, from holding my actual DSLR at an inverted angle, to mounting my monitor, to holding a microphone, light, u name it this guy does it.
