I love the ipad for its light weight, its touch screen, and the amazing apps. It's great for reading and making notes, for viewing movies, and for taking payments via Square and the headset jack. My MacBook Pro is likely to get less use now.

Awesome Product!

This iPad is great for watching movies and playing games. Because it is 64GB it can hold a lot of movies and apps. It's also great for emailing and surfing the web.

What sold me on the IPad, was that my 2 year old grandson knew how to use it.

Bottom line, it works!

Pros: - Well, for sure, the iPad works. I bought one of those $200 iPad knockoffs running Android, and there's just no comparison. I wasted 2 days of my life trying to connect it to my wi-fi, to no avail. I had no problem doing so with the iPad.- Plays videos directly from Facebook, which surprised me.- It's still looks way nicer compared to all the non-Apple tablets. Yes, the iPad 2 is even prettier, but that's more expensive, too. - $ for a brand new 64 gig with 3G here on B&H. Pretty hard to find a lower price anywhere.Cons, sort of:- The complimentary Winnie-the-Pooh copy is missing. I deleted and reinstalled the iBooks app, but it's still not showing on my bookshelf. I know I have to contact Apple support on this one, but still, it's getting on my nerves.- Many of the free apps I want have adverts! I didn't realize this until after I got the iPad. Oh well, I don't need them that badly, anyway. And no closed captioning with ABC Player, so I still have to use my PC or Macbook. Also, the Kindle app does not show a separate list for the top free books, so that's sort of useless to me. Also, make sure you have strong wi-fi. Otherwise, it's really frustrating constantly getting disconnected. A lot of times I end up using my Macbook instead, which seems to disconnect far, far less than the iPad. Bottom line: I've only had my iPad for about a week. So far, I'm kind of feeling buyer's remorse, since I couldn't use it for all the things I planned and wanted. I think I got swayed by all the tablet hype. Oh well, sometimes it can be therapeutic to spend, and hopefully, this helps out the economy a bit. Anyway, you can't really tell until you have the device right in your hands. Hopefully my experience will improve as I play more with it and then maybe grow to like it more. All in all, I still rate this product 5 stars because when all is said and done, it really does work, even for a non-techie like me.
