Quality and a fair price

I looked at all the stand/ tripod cases out there now and this was the best quality and design. They have a 48inch model but for my uses, it's not necessary and it might be difficult to get in and out of a trunk.

Solved the problem of transporting a tripod

I run a video production company in Hokkaido. Until now, it has been extremely difficult to carry a tripod or monopod. But thanks to the purchase of this case, all my worries have been resolved. I have a video tripod, a monopod, two travel tripods for use in the sub, and a lighting leg, but there's still plenty of space. The size is 38 inches. I chose a size that fits in the trunk of a car. Since my company is a small production company, it was a very satisfying purchase considering its mobility.

Not the Temba from yesterday

For the price, it works. It has got some small lighting equipment through a few airports. However, it is not the Tenba case I was accustomed to. It is rather thin and the components don't appear to be very heavy. The wheels work, but are nothing like those on my higher-end cases, and the case is tippy as well. My biggest complaint is that it does not stand on end, a real negative when traveling with multiple cases.

Perfect for tripods and kit stands

Very durable build. Bought two, worked well as checked bags too.

Not perfect but not returning

This is a pretty well made product, but there are some annoying flaws. The wheels aren't very good and don't have bearings. There are flaps/pockets on the inside that just get in the way and snag on equipment when loading/unloading. I cut them all out. You can't really stand this bag upright unless it's leaning against something. Not long enough for a C-stand or some taller light stands. All that said, it does seem like it will put up with abuse and protect my gear.

Just WOW!!

Though longer than my scope, all is well. I can use the extra space for accessories. Impressive build. The tie downs work well but, I would add foam though to fully support the scope and a foam divider. Expeditiously shipped by BHphotovideo.

Good case, unfortunately it is made in China despite Tenba's call out in many marketing materials that This case is made in Brooklyn, New York.

It's obvious this case is not made in China. Beautiful, perfect construction. Just the right amount of padding and hold-down straps too. Sturdy zippers. A place to display your business card, etc. A real beauty! Perfect for a Takahashi TSA-120, with finder scope attached.

question

I have an older style Tenba rolling case similar to this one but it has the 2 rear wheels plus 3 smaller wheels on the bottom as well which means that it rolls all over the place when you don't want it to. Also the rear wheels are falling apart.Does the current version just have the two wheels in back.?Thanks,DS
Asked by: Anonymous
Yes, the current version of the Tenba 38 Rolling Tripod/Grip case only has one set of wheels; however, rather than two wheels, it is four small wheels in one line.
