AquaTech 1755 overview

  • 1Description

The black/moss AquaTech Sensory Gloves are built for both cold and wet environments, and provide superior fingertip control thanks to their unique design advantage.

There's a fleece covering where the glove meets the wrist and all upon the areas where the fingers extend from your palm, providing great resistance to cold.  But the thumb and index finger are sealed in a thin, fine layer of neoprene, and upon the tip of this neoprene there is a small hole meant to allow the very end of either digit to extend outside of the glove for precision control of equipment.

The body of the Sensory Glove is made from several panels stitched together, instead of a seamless piece of fabric, because this provides a better fit to your hand.  Sensory Gloves are tough and made to withstand many seasons of harsh winter use.

Fleece seal for wrist, and fleece cover for fingertips
Special stitched hole allows thumb or index finger to extend beyond glove's confines when desired

    AquaTech 1755 reviews

    Sensory Gloves (XX-Large, Black/Moss) is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good pair of gloves I am using the gloves to photograph in cold snowy conditions. There are two small holes, one on the fingertip of the index finger and one on the thumb. Your hands are able to stay warm while having a sensation for shooting and changing controls with two fingers. The wrist straps don't quite stretch far enough in securing the velcro around your wrists and there is a tightning cord to pull on the wrists of each gloves, but I don't see a purpose for these qnd they just get in the way. Otherwise these are a good pair of gloves.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Avoid As others have said, these gloves are: - Very small: I ordered two sizes larger than my size and they were about right. - Very flimsy - Not warm - Slippery on the gripping surfaces: you could drop a lens - Nearly impossible to use: the access holes for the thumb and index finger tips are blocked by internal baffles that are far too tight I returned them for a refund.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK to a point ... I've had these gloves now for a couple of years. They are good in temps down to 0c (low 30's in F) in dry conditions. Any moisture or colder and they will fail as I have experienced. The stretchy holes are the first points to show wear and therefore also let the cold in faster than you'd like. Im off to Kashmir in January and these won't be going with.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from We will see I will be going on a winter photographic expedition to Montana in the next week. I hope these gloves will live up to their reputation. I am a bit disappointed in their bulk and the mechanism for exposing my fingers. On the other hand, they are well made and should be more protective than the other gloves that I have seen.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great gloves but they run too small. Gloves are well made, appear to be quite warm. I ordered xxl and they are too small. No way I can expose my finger and thumb tips as shown in the ad photo. Returning due to sizing.
