Rated 3 out of 5 by from Straps are Short. I bought this for a Backpacker BBK-6 Canvas (Coffee) camera bag. The colors were as expected and the shoulder pad looks great but the straps are a little short. I like the pad enough to devote some time into applying strap extensions so I can wear my bag compfortablely and access it's contents without removing it from my shoulder. IMHO- I think, for the price of $ the straps could have been made 6 to 8 inches longer. I'm 5'-9 so I think someone who is above 6' or taller would have to find someway of extending the straps. It is a well made product and I'm supprised to see this was not considered in the design.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Tall people beware This strap has taken a load off of my shoulder with it's gel-padded shoulder area, but if you are a tall person or someone with a long arm reach, beware that this strap isn't long enough for you. I'm at the longest setting, and it's still much shorter than my previous strap. It brings the bag to just below my rib cage, as opposed to my hip, where it should be, and makes it much more difficult to use my bag. I'm trying to get used to this, but it's proving to be too difficult, especially with a bag full of lens that need to be switched on the fly. Even with measurements, this turned out much shorter than I thought.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Feels Great on your shoulder My Think Tank UD60 camera bag weighs about 20lbs. loaded, and can feel quite heavy if you carry it around all day. The original strap is supposed to be quite good, but this Op/Tech S.O.S. strap definitely feels more comfortable on your shoulder. It's not going to feel like you are carrying a bag of feathers, but any improvement is welcome. I am 5'9 and have the length adjusted to about 50. At this length I can wear the strap over my should messenger style. If you were to adjust the length all the way out, it would be about 54. Should be long enough for anyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Curve S.O.S. strap (Nature) Hello, I purchased this strap to replace the strap on my BackPacker BBK-6 camera/messenger canvas bag. The build and colors are great. My only complaint is the length of the straps. If you're a small person, no problem, if you only want to wear it on the shoulder, no problem, but if you're average to tall and want to wear it across the chest it causes the bag to ride high at the elbow. If that's where you like it then it's perfect but if, like me, you like it to ride at your hip, this strap will come up a little short. I like the low ride so I can manuever the bag with the handle, to retrieve items and when I sit down there's some play. I believe, if I can find the material, I will make an extension to get the bag at my desired height. Until then I will use the original strap that came with the bag

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Strap I've Owned I've used this Op/Tech curved strap for laptop briefcase, luggage, and camera bag, typically 10-20 lbs. I'm tall, but carry my case at about elbow height straight on my left side. I don't like thick padded straps so the wide neoprene is perfect. Stays in place high on my shoulder. Ordering another to avoid swapping straps with bags. Very well made with great stitching and hardware.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than original strap I'm not going to say I my bag feels lighter, but it sure is more comfortable with this strap. Most of the time I carry it across my chest, but if I decide to carry it on one shoulder the bag doesnt' slip off like it did when I was using the original strap. Seems to be well made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than new This replaced the original strap that came with the bag. It works so much better. More comfortable and does not slip nearly as much as the original. The bag actually feels lighter with this strap, I've reade that the stretchy neoprene distributes the weight more evenly. Whatever it is, it works. If you carry a shoulder bag, even just for vacation, you'll like this strap.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from misleading load carrying rating I purchased this for my wife's laptop computer case. And have walked short distances, carrying her 14 inch ACER, with mixed feelings___and some shoulder pain. But I have not tried it cross strap. Perhaps that is the problem. And perhaps a thicker stiffer pad would improve it.
