It features a 4.6' cable terminated with a 3.5mm connector, enabling compatibility with Audio-Technica PRO 88W wireless transmitters.

The cardioid polar pattern ensures consistent rejection from the rear of the mic for a 120° angle of acceptance and improved immunity to feedback. The AT829mW includes a clothing clip and a windscreen.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice low cost mic ... Nice well built low cost mic. Did not work well in our application with a speaker who moved their head from side to side while speaking due to the cardoid sensitivity pattern - seems to be a narrow pattern. Should have chosen an omni.

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not your most durable but a great value We recently began shooting a youtube show, I had the audio technica receiver and transmitter laying around but needed the mic. I chose this route instead of just getting a regular wired lav mic. Overall I'm satisfied with the quality of the audio I get, it may not be the clearest but it's very useable. My only complaint is the mic seems very fragile, at the connector it's very easy to twist and feels like it could come apart if you're not careful.
