Will this work with Nikon Monarch 3 bino's? The Nikon version has been on back-order for a LONG time and I'd like to have a mount for watching birds this spring.

This should work with any binoculars, regardless of brand.

question

will this fit my silk sdv-20 tripod? There is no screw on the bottom but a plastic swivel release.
Asked by: Anonymous
That is a Celestron Binocular Tripod Adapter. You would need a -20 screw on the release plate of your tripod to mount the binocular mount.

question

Is this adaptor made of metal? Am I right to assume there is a hole in the base so it can be attached to a tripod screw? I want to replace the original plastic adabter I got with my Celestron 15x70 binoculars because it is pretty shaky. Looking at this slim profile of this adapter I worry it could be the same, or is it sturdy not to have the same problem as with the plastic one? Thanks

It is metal - and I have it attached to a monopod - holds my Ceslestron Binoculars very secure

question

Can someone post a picture on how the binoculars would attach to this adapter. I can't visualize because the interface on the binocs is perpendicular to the tripod head?
Asked by: Cristina
@joel l What do you mean "... this adapter only works for Celestron binoculars, because, at the front of the binocular, there is a cover that covering up a screw hold, ..." ? I thought this fits MOST bino's that have that tripod adaptor screw hole ?
