    Nite Ize CVM-03-01 reviews

Curvyman Headphone/Earphone Cable Wrap (Black) is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice for some cables The Curvyman is softer (sort of rubbery) and more substantial than a cardboard or plastic cut-out for wrapping earphone cables. It's nicely manufactured, fun to handle, and does what it's designed to dowind up earbud and earpod cables. However, it might not be a good idea to wrap this sharply the thinner cables for some IEMs and headphones, for fear of kinking and potentially breaking the cables. This is just my concern; I have NOT experienced this, so it might be fine. My preference is to avoid tangles in thin IEM cables by winding a figure 8 around my thumb and little finger and securing the bundle with a Mini Rip-Tie. Never tangles.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A solution, not THE solution Something is better than nothing. And the cord issue plagues us all. The only quibble (and I'm a cranky old man....get off my lawn!) is the little holes you put the cords through. I'm sure there's a technique, and I'm working on perfecting it, of twisting this to open the hole to put the cord through. I'll probably get the hang of it, and will use these happily in the mean time. Because there is little else. Even with Bluetooth there's a cord issue. They could be cheaper, but then, I'm a cranky old cheapskate who can remember when everything cost a nickel. LOL. I'm keepin' 'em. (Bought 3)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for cameral remote on tripod I keep my remote attached to my tripod with Velcro, but it is hard to manage the long cord with just Velcro so I now also use the Curveyman. I put the camera end of the cord through the head end, leaving enough cord to comfortably reach the camera, then wrap the cord around Curvyman and leave enough loose to comfortably use the remote, then insert the cord in the foot end of Curvyman. I twist the Curvyman a bit to get the cord in but then it holds firmly. I clip Curvyman to the tripod ring. When not using the cord I snug it to the tripod leg with Velcro. I also use Curvyman for my headphones on my personal radio.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Handy little doodad! An ingenious, simple design keep earphone cords (and other small wires) neat and tangle-free. The only downside is that, because the product material is so stiff, it can be difficult to force the wire through the separation into the little holes. But once you do, it holds the wire in place very well, and I expect that with time it will become easier to get the wires in and out as the product is broken in. All in all, a worthy purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what's needed! Seriously, it's one of those simple things that make dealing with one of life's little annoyances much simpler - in this case, the issue of headset cords that are a good length if you jog with the player clipped to your belt, but far too long if you are sitting in an airplane seat where it invariably gets tangled in the tray, your arms, the seat arm and whatever else might be in the way.By wrapping the cord around this little shard of plastic, you can unwind as much or little as you need at a given time. I start the wrapping at it's feet, leaving a few inches of loose cord to connect to the phone or player or whatever., and wrap all the rest on the item, clipping the other end of the cord in its mouth. Then, when I need the cord, I unclip at the mouth and unwrap the needed length - and that's it.It takes 10x the effort to read this review than it does to use the item.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from cool accessory! i use this cord management accessory for trail running. it is so cool because it keeps the cord from being strung out all over the place. it doesn't dangle too much because i use it with sennheiser exercise headphones that have a little clip for volume control, and that keeps the dangle to a minimum. i haven't noticed any negatives yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The simple things to make life easier I was always tangling my wireless audio cords when placing mics on speakers. Now I take the mic out and the cord stays wrapped nicely. The design lets you unravel the amount of cord you want and then lock it in so no more cord will unravel. Simple but effective!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WAY TOO SMALL I needed something for my Audio-Technica headphones cord and thought this was the solution. Boy was I wrong. It's way too small for the 10' cord my headphones have, and more likely for a regular set with a cord of about 4 or 5'.
