The Lorex CVC8011 Ultra High Resolution Color Day/Night Professional DSP Security Camera brings high resolution monitoring to a home or business at an affordable price. The CVC8011 uses a Sony Super HAD Gen 2 CCD sensor, producing 560 TVL of resolution, to deliver bright and sharp images of the surveillance area. In low light situations, the CVC8011 automatically switches from color to B/W video, thus enhancing image visibility during nighttime hours. At the same time, advanced DNR technology is activated to reduce noise in the picture, a process that also cuts down on storage requirements by up to 30 percent. XDR (Xtended Dynamic Range) is another function used by the camera to compensate for high contrast and backlit scenes.
