This is a perfect match for my Neumann TLM-103 or any mic that does not have a high pass roll off, it’s clean and noise free

great product, best price.

A friend of mine recommended this to me and I'm greatful. I use this high pass filter to cut low frequencies going to my in-ear monitor and also to cut low hz on side wash powered monitors. I get plenty of bass from my main subs so the Shure A15HP is a good fit for my situation.

For location interview sound in semi-uncontrolled environments, this cuts the lows without completely compromising voice quality. You don't always have room for a mixer and an extra person so when you are sending a mic directly into a camera, this really streamlines your sound quickly.

Does a good job

I needed to cut out some low frequencies in my audio recordings, and not have to do it in post all the time. This helps a bit, but not to the degree I was hoping.

No, the Shure A15HP does not block phantom power and it does allow phantom power to pass through so it can be used with condenser microphones as well as dynamic microphones.

Does this adapter color the sound at all? How transparent is it? Thanks.
Asked by: Dennis
It should not color the sound. Customer reviews mention that it is clean and does not compromise the sound. It is an effective tool for reducing unwanted low frequencies that create noise in the signal.
